About me
Hello! I am Hao Xu (徐 浩), I am a Postdoctoral Researcher (in semiconductor-based nanosensors) working with Yongzhuo Li and Kaiyu Cui in the Nano-Optoelectronics Lab at Tsinghua University. Previously trained by both physicists and engineers, the interdisciplinary experience builds my expertise skills from physics to engineering and technology.
My research interest focuses on the micro and nanosystems realization based on device theory modeling, engineering fabrication, validation and optimization, aiming at engineering-guided nanosensors making humans live healthier and safer. For example, nanoelectronic, nanophotonic and nanomagnetic devices are involved in quantum sensors, biomedical imaging as well as semiconductor industry.
2020-2024, I received my PhD (in nanoelectronics) working with Didier Theron and Xin Zhou at the Institute for Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (IEMN), CNRS/Univ. Lille, France.
2018-2020, I did my research assistant training (in nanophotonics) at Tsinghua University TBSI.
Outside of work, my interests include Iron Man, Marathon, Swimming, Hiking, Guitar playing and design painting
Research keywords - Nanofabrication, MEMS and NEMS, Optomechanics, Nanophotonics
